SKLT is pleased to announce the protection of 10 acres of land on the west side of Yawgoo pond, donated by Hays & Linda Rockwell. SKLT now protects over half the shoreline of this sparsely developed freshwater pond.
The Rockwells donated a conservation easement on a portion of their land which abuts land belonging to SKLT on the south end of the pond. Combined with SKLT land on the east side of the pond, SKLT now protects 75 acres of land abutting the shores of Yawgoo Pond. SKLT thanks the Rockwells for their perseverance in getting this land into permanent protection.
