The summer season is upon us and the Hale House is ready. While the house is owned by SKLT, the organization which schedules programs for the Hale House is the Matunuck Preservation Society, which has announced this summer’s programs – visit www.Halehouseri.org. Some programs require advance registration as the numbers of people which can be accommodated at the house are relatively small.
Tours will be given on Fridays and Saturdays from 1to 4pm throughout the summer. The house will close for the season after the Labor Day weekend. Tours and admission to the house are free, so we would like to see all our members take advantage and come by during the summer. A new feature this summer is a film about the house and the Hale family who resided there for 34 summers. The film will be shown continually, so drop by and take a peek.
