Join SKLT and the Rhode Island Mycological Society for a Mushroom Foray on August 31st
We’ll meet at the Browning Woods Trailhead at 10 AM before heading into the woods for about an hour to search for mushrooms. Afterward, we’ll return to our ID table to identify and document what we’ve found.
What to bring:
Water, Comfortable hiking shoes, Bug spray, A basket or container for collecting fungi.
Please note:
This is not a foraging walk—we’ll be collecting mushrooms for identification and education, not consumption.
Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged.
Children are welcome, but please no dogs.
