Guest Speaker: Tomas Koeck
Award-winning filmmaker, journalist, photographer—and lifelong environmental optimist—Tomas will present his new documentary series, Ocean State: Rhode Island’s Wild Coast, a cinematic dive into the rich and increasingly threatened shoreline and marine ecosystems of Rhode Island.
Tomas has worked on assignment for organizations including National Geographic, PBS Nature, the Smithsonian Channel, the National Audubon Society, and ESPN. His work spans wildlife from great gray owls and gray wolves to great white sharks, with expeditions ranging from the Canadian Arctic to the cloud forests of Central America.
