Every second Friday of the month, Development & Outreach Coordinator Tasha is joined by hikers for a guided hike on one of SKLT’s properties. From summer mountain laurel in bloom, to the unique history of the Browning Homestead at Browning Woods, to exploring Biscuit City Pond and the smaller, ecologically rich Crawley Preserve, every trail has its own character.
Often joined by Board Secretary Elise Torello and former staff member Kevin Nelson, these hikes always offer something new to learn along the way.
Hikes are listed on SKLT’s events page, are free and open to the public, and offer a chance to see these places in a whole new way. Check out the video on the left for some in-the-forest, boots-on-the-ground moments. We hope to see you out there!
