Join SKLT on January 29th for a special evening with David Bird, creator of Becorns — tiny acorn-and-stick characters brought to life in nature. David will share how his lifelong love of the outdoors and background in design led to these miniature creations, along with a behind-the-scenes look at photographing them with wildlife.
You’ll learn about his creative process, the challenges and joys of working outdoors (including curious squirrels), and the themes of wonder and observation that shape his work.
The evening begins with a community potluck at 6:00 p.m., followed by the lecture at 7:00 p.m. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to Becorns, this event promises inspiration and a touch of magic.
