Join SKLT and the Rhode Island Mycological Society for a Mushroom Foray on September 13th!
We’ll meet at the Browning Woods Trailhead at 4 PM before heading into the woods for about an hour to search for mushrooms. Afterward, we’ll return to our ID table to identify and document what we’ve found.
What to bring:
Water
Comfortable hiking shoes
Bug spray
A basket or container for collecting fungi
Your adventurous spirit!
Please note:
This is not a foraging walk—we’ll be collecting mushrooms for identification and education, not consumption.
Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged.
Children are welcome, but please no dogs.
