Join Us for a Summer Mushroom Expedition with The Mushroom Hunting Foundation
Some mushrooms are poisonous, but their ecology is fun to learn about…and others are simply delicious! Ryan and Emily Bouchard, New England’s leading mushroom hunting teachers, will lead us into the forest to explain wild mushroom science and safety, demonstrate helpful collecting tools and wild mushroom photography, and put special emphasis on the summer species that are considered “safe for beginners” to cook with.
*Recommended for adults and mature youth. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Those ages 16 to 18 may attend with a signed waiver from a parent or legal guardian.*
The hiking will not be difficult, but don’t wear your best pants and shoes!

$15 – children…..$20 – Adults
All proceeds support the protection of South Kingstown’s open spaces and help the Mushroom Hunting Foundation continue their fantastic work with our favorite sporous fun-guys.
