South Kingstown Land Trust is now hiring a full–time Land Management Director to oversee and implement the monitoring, care, and active stewardship of the land and structures it protects and operates.Responsibilities will include a broad variety of field-based activities, plus interacting with private landowners, neighbors, lessee farmers, permitted hunters, non-profit and governmental grant partners, and regulatory agencies.The applicant must enjoy spending time in the field and have experience in natural resource management issues and practices. Computerized mapping and record keeping will be part of the job.
