Thank you all for rising above the weather challenges and making it to the Barn for our annual monitoring day extravagnza on Sunday, March 30th. More than 35 volunteers showed up to help monitor our more than 150 properties to certify that there are no violations or other problems which need to be addresses anywhere. That’s a tall order and it can’t be done without the help of our loyal volunteers. As a thank you for your work, SKLT prepared and served a dinner to all the volunteers. We at the Land Trust believe we have the best volunteers and you have proved us right again!
Every year for the past 6 years, we have asked for your help to monitor the Land Trust properties and you have responded. SKLT’s monitoring day has received much praise in the Rhode Island land trust community for its innovative and efficient method of monitoring. We are proud of what this day has become and thank our volunteers for making it happen!
