Join SKLT for a guided hike at Crawley Preserve, a 100-acre property along the Richmond/South Kingstown line featuring a relaxed, scenic walk through mixed hardwood forest and gently rolling terrain.
Time: 9:00 am – 11:00 am
We’ll follow a ~2-mile loop on the Crawley and Brook Trails, crossing small bridges, passing rock outcroppings, and exploring streams that flow toward the Queen/Usquepaugh River. Expect some great birding, uneven footing and light elevation gain along the way.
We’ll also highlight the preserve’s history as a former family retreat and farm, with stone walls, cellar holes, and occasional seasonal views toward URI from higher ground. See you there!
