Meet our Speaker: Joseph Zbyrowski
Joseph Zbyrowski is a raptor specialist who has worked with hawks and owls for more than 30 years. A retired environmental science teacher, master bird bander, and former raptor rehabilitator, Joe has volunteered with RIDEM, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the National Park Service, and Audubon Society of Rhode Island. He also conducts an annual hawk migration count and is currently involved in Peregrine Falcon and Barn Owl restoration projects.
