Join us for a special treat! Marion Eppley Wildlife Sanctuary is the Audubon Society of Rhode Island’s largest refuge with 1100 acres of white cedar swamp, thickets of Rhododendron and Mountain Laurel and hundreds of species of birds and other wildlife. It is normally open to selected groups by special permission only. Please join Scott Ruhren, Senior Director of Conservation for a guided hike through part of the refuge. Participants should meet at the refuge entrance at 505 Dugway Road, West Kingston at 9:00am. Please wear sturdy shoes, dress appropriately and bring water and a light snack.
SKLT relies on partner agencies and organizations in almost every facet of our work – funding for land protection, cooperative stewardship efforts, borrowing equipment, and outreach efforts and programs.
